Trinidad and Tobago’s Women Youth Team head coach Stephan De Four is currently in Dallas, Texas to conduct a three-day Women’s football combine for players based in North America eligible of representing Trinidad and Tobago.
De Four was recently appointed head coach of the T&T Women’s Under 17 and Under 20 teams. De Four will have a look at players from today (Friday) at 6pm at the 3601 Huffines Blvd Carrolton in Texas. He will conduct further screening sessions tomorrow (Saturday) from 9am-11am and 5pm-8pm as well as Sunday from 1pm-3pm.
The sessions in Texas are opened to all players from senior to Under 15 who either hold a Trinidad and Tobago passport or are eligible to play for T&T through parentage or place of birth. De Four issues an advisory and invitation previous through contacts in the US but first time players are invited to attend. They are advised to walk with a form of ID.
De Four, on his return to Trinidad, will conduct a combine starting on July 20th from 4-6pm at the Hasely Crawford Stadium. All Under 20 and Under 23 women players are invited to attend.
“These sessions are really geared towards to expanding the pool of Trinidad and Tobago players for our youth teams and also the Olympic team,” De Four told TTFA Media. “We have a lot to cover and providing the opportunity to players and identifying the talent is a major part of the overall process,” he added.
