The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association will stage a Beach Soccer Referees Course in conjunction with CONCACAF at the Central Regional Indoor Sport Arena in Chaguanas from May 21st to June 4th.
CONCACAF certified beach soccer instructor Nigel Roberts will conduct the course which will cover a wide section of the sport as follows.

Positioning & Movement ( free kick, corner kick, kick off, penalty kick & goal clearance)
Role of Assistant Referees (3rd Referee & Timekeeper)
Practical: Positioning & Movement ( free kicks, kick off, corner kick, kick-in/throw-in, penalty kick & goal clearance )

- Passing grade -75 % & above – Level 3 70 % – 75 – Level 4Roberts is also a Futsal instructor and the TTFA recently conducted a similar course for Futsal as both versions of the game continues to grow in Trinidad and Tobago. The National Beach Soccer team finished seventh at the 2017 CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship while the Futsal team narrowly missed out on reaching the CONCACAF Final Round last year.
The TTFA also completed a FIFA Referees Assistance Programme (RAP) course for local elite referees last week and three of this country’s officials, referee Rodphin Harris and assistants Kevin Lewis and Ainsley Rochard participated in the Concacaf Gold Cup Referee Candidate course which took place in Dallas.
