T&T Women draw with Venezuela

Trinidad and Tobago’s Senior Women’s Team secured a 0-0 draw with Venezuela in the first of two international friendlies at the Ato Boldon Stadium on Sunday.

The game, though without goals, would have left head coach Carolina Morace would have been somewhat satisfied with the team’s ability to hold their opponents at bay for periods and keeping a clean sheet.

Substitute Laurelle Theodore had T&T’s best chance to break the deadlock but she could not get her shot on target.

Earlier on  Venezuela midfielder Tahicelis Marcano directed her effort wide of  open goal from 22 after a clearance by Kimika Forbes clearance deflected into her path.

Both teams meet again at 7pm on Wednesday at the Ato Boldon.
