Cecile Hinds
Crystal Sobers

Assistant Referees

Oladele Thomas
Ainsley Rochard

TTFA President David John-Williams urged the officials to take their profession seriously and to continue striving for excellence.

“This is just a formality but I also want to reiterate this administrations commitment to the improvement of referees. Things are taking shape. This year we will be dealing a lot with structures and delivery. The first year was settling down and now we are putting the structures in place. This is the second year and we want to deliver on our promises. Refereeing is a very important part of the game. If there are no referees, there is no game,” stated John Williams, adding that among his wishes was to see a Trinidad and Tobago referee officiate a World Cup Final.

General Secretary Justin Latapy-George added “This is a stepping stone for us. This is for you as referees to continue to be edified in the field and to march on the better things and we are looking forward to seeing improved numbers. We need to continue to have referees at the highest level. Many times we forget about the officiating It is critical for us to have officials of a particular caliber in order for us to improve the game.”

All the members selected officiate in local competitions such as the T&T Pro League, Super League, Secondary Schools and Zonal football leagues and many of them have experienced officiating at CONCACAF  and Caribbean Football Union tournaments, senior and junior World Cup qualifiers and international matches, both in the men and women’s game. They will now be up for selection in further international events in 2017.
